Lucky Magazine Fall Shoe Guide: The Cruelty Free Version, Day 1: Heeled Booties

SHOE WEEK CONTINUES!
So back in March, I took one of my favorite parts of Lucky Magazine, the seasonal shoe guide, and tracked down leather-free alternatives of all the mentioned styles, and compiled them into one handy group of posts over the course of a week. It featured platform mary janes, slingback heels, pointy-toe flats, two-strap flat sandals, cork-soled platforms, and two-tone oxfords.
With the arrival of the Fall version to my mailbox just yesterday, I’m embarking on the journey of doing the same thing. The Fall guide covers heeled booties, party pumps, girly flats, rugged boots, work heels, tall boots, men’s wear flats, chunky ankle boots, and strap heels. Wow, that’s a long list. Really, one has to ask – what style of shoes did Lucky LEAVE OUT???
Anyway, this is a bit of a daunting task, but I think I’m up for it (although my bank account most likely won’t be). Plus, I already covered most of the boots in my Massive Fall Boot Guide so those should be easy.
Let’s take a look at the first shoe in Lucky’s guide, Heeled Booties.
They’ve divided their favs into three categories:
1. Foldover Lace-up

Those Anne Michelle Revenge Tan Fleece Cuff Lace Up Booties are serious business. They look well done.
Lulu’s has good stuff. The other shoes I’ve gotten from there have been great. I think these are pretty unique…
